Users which have 'Remember Me' checked on the forum, finally get what they want. I changed some settings in the cookie settings, now it actually works.

The guestbook is also finally free from spam, simply by adding the Vip code solution to the entry form.

I have upgraded the custom built perl script which, in effect, was a mailing list, to a mailing list on Mac OS X Server. Here it is a lot easier to manage.

If you want to participate you can do so by entering your email address at the bottom of the main page 50cc-motorcycles.com, or by sending an email to 50ccmail-subscribe@mail.50cc-motorcycles.com.

Finally after many years I updated the site's main page. It's just a start to get things going, I'm looking to further update things and also expand the updates to the rest of the site. Please don't look at the code, it's a real mess...

I've been messing around with The GIMP the last couple of days, it's a pretty cool app once you get to know it. I used it to create a new logo for 50cc-motorcycles.com.

Forum Spam

I finally got rid of the spam in the forum. I had a lot of help from the new moderator Crazy D, he single handedly deleted all of the spam in the forum. This new moderator has since then been very active on the forum keeping all the bullshit out.

A couple of days ago I installed a great mod called VIP Mod, ever since this mod has been active no new spammers have registered. It really works!
